Dear Reader:
Fire Emblem: Three Houses devs talk Cindered Shadows DLC length, free update plans, OST release expectations, and more
This week's issue of Famitsu includes a feature on the Cindered Shadows DLC for Fire Emblem: Three Houses, as well as the game in general. It includes some commentary from the dev team as well. Check out a summary of the info below.
Cindered Shadows DLC
- the DLC is fairly difficult, and the dev team thinks it'll take players 8-10 hours to complete on normal
- unlock more stuff in the main game as you make your way through the DLC
Free updates
- free update will let you have tea time with Rhea
- Byleth will be able to wear dancer clothes, but not become a dancer
- change costumes from the free day menu, as well as change everyone's costumes at once
Developer tidbits
- golden route is not planned
- the devs were against the idea since it would become the "right path" in fan's minds
- 'Maddening' difficulty was really hard for the team to balance, so they were happy with the release timing of it
- the team expects Intelligent Systems to put out a full OST at some point
