GN Version 5.0

It's been one hell of a wild ride for AI: The Somnium Files over the last week+. The game went from having and 8.2 user review average to a 1.9, following a review bombing by someone who was trying to show how easy it is to game Metacritic, and also wanted to show disapproval of one of the game's characters that he said he had a 'major crush' on. News of the review bombing even made it to the dev team, who were disappointed to see the game fall so low.

While we don't know if they've heard the story of the person who caused all the trouble, all that really matters is the end result. Fans of the game have taken on another review bombing, but this time it's a positive one. The game now sits with the highest user review average of any Switch game, clocking in at 9.0. Let's hope the saga ends here, and we can all move on!
