Story of Seasons character designer Igusa Matsuyama has let loose with some good news on their personal blog. According to their latest post, Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town has managed to move 200k units in Japan alone. That figure includes both physical and digital sales.

This sales number is a great start, as it already surpasses sales of the original game, which amassed 161,430 units sold in its lifetime. Furthermore, Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town hit 108,362 units sold for its lifetime total in Japan. Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town combines both of those titles, and it should end up surpassing the lifetime sales of the two previous games combined in the near future.
