GN Version 5.0

We're extremely sad to report that Kazuhisa Hashimoto, creator of the Konami Code (up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, start) has passed away at the age of 61. With the cheat code initially appearing in Gradius, the 1985 NES title from Konami, it has become a legendary passcode used across many different video games over the years (even outside Konami titles), and is even used to unlock my own personal smartphone. He will be greatly missed, and will always be remembered every time the special code is inputted across video games everywhere.
