Puzzle Quest: The Legend Returns devs say can't work on a patch for the game, need approval from the publisher

Ever since Puzzle Quest: The Legend Returns released, people have been complaining about some lag and glitch issues. There was talk of a patch to fix things up, but that never came to be. Fans are wondering what happened, which is why they reached out to developer Infinity Plus 2 to find out.

Infinity Plus 2 responded to a fan's question about a Switch patch with the following message, which certainly doesn't give much hope for a fix coming soon.

We aren't able to work on a patch for the game presently. The best way to get further visibility on this is to get in contact with our publisher, D3 Go Games.

Sounds like Infinity Plus 2 wants to work on a patch, but they can't without the go-ahead from D3 Go. Let's hope spreading the word on this matter will help convince the publisher to greenlight a patch.
