Kamiko hit the Switch back in 2017 and became a niche hit. It managed to sell over 100k units worldwide, and players absolutely loved the Zelda-light experience. The game's success with consumers and critics alike had many thinking that a sequel would surely come around, but sadly, that won't be the case.

Skipmore has said that there are no plans on making a sequel at this point. It seems that the developer doesn't want to create a game that ends up getting compared to the original, both in terms of good and bad parts. It seems Kamiko will just have to live on as a one-off title.
