Nintendo will no longer be accepting pre-orders for the Animal Crossing: New Horizons edition Nintendo Switch starting on March 7th (as originally announced). This is being done to provide more in-store stock for the console at retail stores nationwide. Pre-orders being taken from retailers have been sold out for weeks, so arriving early at a local store offering the system may be your best option. This Switch console edition will be releasing on March 13th, 2020, one week before Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
