We finally know who purchased the Nintendo Playstation at auction for $380k. Turns out the purchase was made by Greg McLemore, the founder of Pets.com.

McLemore sold Pets.com to Amazon quite some time ago, but made a pretty penny off of it. He also made cash off a number of other websites, which is how he's got money to burn on things like the Nintendo Playstation.

The good news is that McLemore plans on letting the public check out the Nintendo Playstation. He has purchased a number of historical gaming hardware over the years, and he wants to show it off in a gaming museum. If that's his plan for this purchase and others, it's nice knowing we'll all get to check out all the items up close.
