GN Version 5.0

Sungrand Studios, the developer behind Silver Falls: 3 Down Stars, has released a video detailing their extremely excruciating experience bringing the game to 3DS.

Creator Jerrel Dulay shared a video going over the entire process of getting Silver Falls: 3 Down Stars on 3DS, and it seems like he had a tough battle the whole way. Dulay says his interactions with Nintendo leads him to believe that they simply don't have interest in supporting the 3DS anymore. He faced issues with the dev kit for the platform, which simply wasn't up to date, and didn't provide the promised features.

Furthermore, Dulay says the version of the game that got sent to Nintendo isn't the one that's currently on the 3DS eShop. The version available has a number of bugs he fixed roughly a month ago, and he's not sure how some of the issues got introduced. The latest version of the game should be version 1.2, but that version appears to be in limbo, at least when it comes to the North American eShop.

To get an idea of how the game should run, you can check out gameplay footage from Version 1.2 below.
