The rumors from yesterday were true. E3 2020 is officially cancelled, although the organization is looking into other ways to host the big event. While we wait for those details, Nintendo has released a statement backing the ESA's decision.

“Nintendo supports the ESA’s decision to cancel this year’s E3 to help protect the health and safety of everyone in our industry — our fans, our employees, our exhibitors and our longtime E3 partners.”

What Nintendo neglected to do was mention how they plan on sharing their E3 2020 content. Will they wait for the ESA to organize something new, or will they host something of their own? Hopefully we get details soon.
