Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew manhole covers pop up in Totorii Prefecture
Man, what a beauty!
The Pokémon Local Acts effort includes a number of unique initiatives, including creating special manhole covers for regions in Japan. We've already shared a few of these installments, but today we get a look at the new designs that'll be implemented in the Tottori Prefecture.
Totorii Prefecture has Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew as their ambassadors, and the pair have been doing all sorts of good for the neighborhood since 2018. The latest tie-in comes from the installation of 14 different manhole covers placed throughout the area. As usual, these manhole covers will also act as special PokéStops in Pokémon GO.
