If you go into NBA 2K20's NBA Today mode and start a new franchise, the game ends up crashing. This is because NBA Today mode lets you start a new franchise from this very day in real life. The simulation is supposed to start up based on games on the NBA's calendar, but since there aren't any on the calendar right now, the game has no idea what to do.
