Parent hosts surprise birthday party for their daughter in Animal Crossing: New Horizons when a real event was called off due to coronavirus

Happy birthday, Sophia!

It seems that Animal Crossing: New Horizons is quickly becoming the place to hold virtual gathers to replace real-life events that have been postponed. First we had a surprise wedding in New Horizons, and now we have a birthday party!

Alexia Christofi knew her daughter was bummed about not being able to have a birthday party due to coronavirus concerns, so she came up with a new plan. She reached out to her daughter's friends and got them to put together a surprise party in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. In the video above, you can see the moment Alexia's daughter Sophia finds out what's going on.

We can all agree that a real-life birthday party with friends would be better, but a virtual gathering means just as much in times like these.

Happy Birthday Sophia, hope you had a good one!

Not an Animal Crossing guy myself, but even I can see that this is what the world needs right now. Smile

Edit: Seeing as I'm first comment, lemme take this opportunity to thank RMC, Mom Brain, and all the crew for all the updates, patreon posts, podcasts, and videos over the last couple of weeks. It's good to have some comfort food during such strange and distressing times.

Any chance of Mom Brain doing an Animal Crossing Let's Play for the duration of the pandemic? I would legit up my patreon pledge to see that!
