Some of the music tracks have been remastered or remixed! Experience the majesty of the Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition game when it launches for Nintendo Switch on May 29. On the same day, the Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Works Set will also launch, featuring a 250-page artbook full of beautiful landscapes, imposing monsters and more.

I got my eyes on that work set

I wonder if future connected will end up being DLC instead...also, what cliffhanger did the original had that required a different ending?

The original didn't have a cliffhanger, but this epilogue could set up a sequel or to do something different(explaing it would delve into spoilers)

I mean I played the game to know that it has an ending. I just didn't think the ending was so bad that they decided to make another one.

I don't think this is a "new ending" so much as it's a mini-sequel...

Technically this prolly isn't going to be a "different" ending so much as one that fills in the blanks. Remember: In the original game there's a lengthy timeskip between beating the final boss and the final scene we see.

Pre-ordered the work set the minute I saw it available online. Gotta protect yourself from those scalpers man.
