Mechanical engineer makes a taser controller to use while playing as Pichu in Smash Bros. Ultimate

Pichu has a number of moves in Smash Bros. Ultimate that cause self damage due to electrical discharge. Electrical engineer Eric Heckman thought this mechanic would be perfect for his latest, and most devious creation. Eric has married a GameCube controller with a taser in order to zap himself when playing as Pichu.

Everytime Pichu uses a move that does self damage, Heckman gets a zap from his custom controller. Obviously this isn't a controller you want to use when playing normally (or at all, really!), but it does make for a fun project and video!
