Nintendo on Switch production, shipments will keep being delayed
Back in February, Nintendo mentioned that the delay of Switch products would be unavoidable. The COVID-19 pandemic makes shipping finished products from China to Japan a lot harder.
Speaking to Career Correction, and translated by Japanese Nintendo and BlackKite, Nintendo provided a short update on the situation. According to the company, ''the situation has not changed''.
''We didn’t mention the Switch Lite because there was still enough stock in the market at the time of publication [in February]. But the point that many of its parts are made in China is the same. We are doing various efforts inside the company; although shipments haven’t stagnated, they are getting delayed.''
