Ground Control Studios is proud to announce that ZHED is coming to Nintendo SwitchTM and Steam on the 16th of April 2020.
According to the developer, ZHED will take advantage of the features of the Nintendo Switch, namely touch screen and portability, to bring an innovative and interesting puzzle experience to the console.
The Nintendo Switch Demo is already available for download.
ZHED is an instant classic puzzle game. Based on a simple mechanic it builds onto increasingly complex puzzles that challenge you to a level you would not imagine. No timers, no clocks, no stars and no tricks, just pure puzzles for you to enjoy. It is the perfect brainteaser that lets you train focus, concentration and memory.
According to Rui Guedes, the game’s Nintendo SwitchTM producer, ZHED is the perfect combination of difficulty and compromise with a videogame: “The difficulty on the puzzle scales really well, giving players time to adjust, plus the game isn’t demanding in terms of play time, players can solve the challenges at their own pace, without being pressured by timers or other mechanics. You can play ZHED while you wait on the lobby of a multiplayer PC game or during your daily commute using the Nintendo SwitchTM. Players have full control over their engagement level and truly enjoy the puzzles!”
On the game’s roadmap are PC and Console-exclusive Puzzles and features, such as additional game mechanics and play modes.
ZHED is the name of the puzzle game, focused on pure problem solving and logic, developed by Ground Control Studios. Featuring a fully original and innovative puzzle mechanic, ZHED enables players to focus on solving the game’s challenges, without any timers, stars or other distracting mechanics. The game will be available on Steam and Nintendo SwitchTM at April 16th.
ZHED is priced at $3.25, and will take up 66 MB. The game is not yet available to preload.
