Former AKB48/NMB48 turns her Switch lottery luck into a gift for her mother

Former AKB48/NMB48 member Sayaka Yamamoto has put together quite a special gift for her mother on Mother's Day. Yamamoto entered a retailer lottery not that long ago to try and win the chance to purchase a Switch, and she ended up being chosen. Again, Switch lotteries in Japan are being held due to low stock of the Switch, and winners in these lotteries then have the chance to pay full price for a Switch.

Yamamoto said she was never expecting to win the lottery, but now that she did, she's paying the good luck forward. She's going to give the Switch to her mother for Mother's Day, and she's throwing in a copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons as well. That's a pretty fantastic Mother's Day gift if you ask me!
