Indivisible publisher says an "unexpected series of events" lead to the game's surprise launch, update coming soon

Deemed a "happy accident"

GN Version 5.0

Indivisible hit the Switch earlier today, surprising the dev team just as much as it did players. Since the team behind the game had no idea why the game launched early, USGamer reached out to publisher 505 Games for info. Here's what they had to say.

"We had scheduled an early May release date, but due to an unexpected series of events, the game is now available in North America and Europe. It's a happy accident that puts the game into your hands sooner than expected."

A not-so-happy accident with the surprise release was missing content when compared to other versions. While we'll still be waiting for some of those features, an update is coming soon that will fix performance issues and add an option to unlock the character Roti. The co-op and New Game+ features are coming later.

Developer Mike Zaimont followed up on Twitter with a bit more info, saying that the original plan was to have a day-one patch, but instead we got the game without that patch. Co-op and New Game+ were never intended to be a part of that patch.

Thanks to DA_BOUNCA for the heads up!
