Justin Roiland has openly talked about his appreciation for Nintendo on multiple occasions, and even paid tribute to Nintendo in Rick and Morty. Looks like Roiland still eager to spread that love for Nintendo with his new show, Solar Opposites. The above clip comes from the very first episode, and it brings back the old SEGA Vs. Nintendo battle.
UPDATE - Looks like I spoke too soon, as there's a second Nintendo reference in the first episode. I've included a screen grab below.
