GN Version 5.0

As you already know, the Switch is incredibly hard to find in Japan. Nintendo has been struggling during the pandemic to manufacture enough Switch units to keep up with demand, and Japan is one of the hardest hit regions. For months now, potential customers have had to scour online sites and sign up for retail lotteries just for a chance to purchase a Switch. Now that shortage is impacting sales of used Switch units.

A recent report from Japan indicates that sales of used Switch units are now skyrocketing due to the shortage. To give an idea of just how bad things are, some used Switch units are selling for $130 over the regular price of a brand-new Switch! Hopefully as we slowly shift away from the pandemic, Nintendo will be able to get their supply chain back to normal.
