We know that Nintendo has had trouble manufacturing Switch units in China due to the pandemic, but the Big N said they were working hard to shift things around and get production back up to speed. Now we're hearing they're having issues with some other regions as well.

Bloomberg has a feature in which they say Nintendo is currently struggling with getting essential Switch components from areas like Malaysia and the Philippines, due to government-imposed lockdowns. Nintendo gets printed circuit boards from Malaysia, and passive components from the Philippines. Until these regions recover from the pandemic and restrictions ease, Nintendo is likely to face problems getting Switch components they need.
