GN Version 5.0

Suda51 is currently working hard on No More Heroes 3, but that doesn't mean he's not thinking about what's coming next. If Suda51 has his way, he'll be able to tackle some ports and remakes for Switch.

Suda51 was one of the headliners for MomoCon, and he took fan questions during his appearance. One fan asked about some of Suda's previous works coming to Switch, and Suda had plenty to say on the topic. See what Suda51 had to share via his translator below.

“First off, Silver Case – that’s one game that he would love to release on the Switch. There have been discussions about it. At the moment, there’s nothing really concrete that he can say, but there have definitely been discussions about it, and he’s doing what he can to make that a reality.

As for other games – Killer7, put simply that’s pretty much up to Capcom. There’s not really a whole lot that Grasshopper can do about that, so again that’s pretty much in Capcom’s hands.

For Killer is Dead, that’s something that he would have to discuss thoroughly with Kadokawa Games. Different parts of the rights are kind of split up on that one.

But yeah, those are all titles that he would like to see come out on the Switch if possible. I guess right now, possibly the most realistic of those would be The Silver Case.”

Suda51 also mentioned Flower, Sun, an Rain, which came to the DS a number of years ago. Suda has been talking with a studio about a potential remake, but he needs a bit more time before he can officially say that a remake/re-release is coming.

Thanks to Dondom95 for the heads up!
