Random Time! - Fan-made Star Fox video shows what the franchise would like in a Paper Mario style

The following information comes from the description of this fan-made Paper Star Fox 64 video:

Star Fox 64 is my favorite game and I always liked the style of Paper Mario, so I thought about making a video that would combine both.

It took me a month and a half, but I finally had time to do it, it was a fun process and I learned a lot trying to improve the video day by day.

I did everything, I used Maya, C4D, After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop.

All music and sound effects belong to Nintendo.

Pretty impressive! More franchises with the paper aesthetic would be fun

Looks nice but doesn't do anything other than that.

Paper Mario style isn't supposed to be anything but a style. Only the newest three games in the series actually take the whole paper thing seriously.

Yeah and no. The change in visuals was the first hint at the fact that this wasn't your normal mario platformer. Much like Mario RPG on SNES, the visuals were changed to distinguish it from the regular mario series. So now, when u see a paper Mario game, you know it's going to be nothing like the series usual platformer offerings. The Starfox video was just your regular Starfox game with paper mario-like visuals. That's the point I was trying to make
