The "PowKiddy X2" is about as blatant a Switch knock-off as you can get

A shameless rip-off

Some Chinese manufacturers are more than willing to go the extra mile to confuse consumers. That requires creating hardware that looks pretty much like the real thing, and that's exactly what we have here with the PowKiddy X2. Hardcore Nintendo fans will most likely be able to spot this as a knock-off from the get-go, but those less savvy could easily mistake it for a legit Switch.

As you probably suspect, the PowKiddy X2 doesn't really do anything the Switch does, minus the ability to play games. This abomination comes packed with a number of emulators, which is sure to rile up Nintendo even more. Is the Big N going to step in to stop this thing? There's no doubt they'd want to, but Chinese manufacturers often prove difficult to track down and stop.

Let's hope there aren't too many people who are fooled by this rip-off. With an $80 price tag, we're worried some will find the deal too good to resist.

Thanks to Sligeach_eire for the heads up!
