Nintendo holding their 80th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on June 26th, 2020, coronavirus measures outlined

Details on Nintendo's 80th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders have been revealed, and some new measures due to the coronavirus have been outlined for those attending their headquarters in Kyoto, Japan. Officially announced to be taking place on June 26th, the following measures will be taking place:

1. The meeting will be shortened overall, including the amount of questions allowed to be asked by the audience
2. Less total participants will be permitted, and the number of seats will be reduced
3. AGM merchandise will not be distributed
4. Wearing face masks is a requirement for all attendees
5. Anyone that appears unwell will be turned away, and will not be allowed into the building
6. All voting by the shareholders is recommended to be done online or by mail-in
7. Measures are subject to change, and all new information will be provided on the Nintendo investor relations webpage

Friday, June 26, 2020 at 10 a.m. Japan time (reception will open at 9 a.m.)

Place:
Seventh floor conference room in the Development Center of the Company, located at 2-1 Minamimatsuda-cho, Higashikujo, Minami-ku, Kyoto, Japan

1. The Business Report, Consolidated Financial Statements for the Company’s 80th Fiscal Year (April 1, 2019-March 31, 2020) and results of audits by the Accounting Auditor and the Audit and Supervisory Committee of the Consolidated Financial Statements
2. Non-Consolidated Financial Statements for the Company’s 80th Fiscal Year (April 1,2019-March 31, 2020)

Proposals to be resolved:
No. 1: Distribution of Surplus
No. 2: Election of Five Directors (excluding Directors who are Audit and Supervisory Committee Members)
No. 3: Election of Four Directors who are Audit and Supervisory Committee Members
