Pokemon Cafe Mix hits Switch on June 23rd, 2020, only supports handheld mode

A mixed response

Pokemon Cafe Mix was announced for Switch and mobile last week, but we didn't get a release date. Thanks to Nintendo.com's official page, we now know the game drops on June 23rd, 2020.

Now this is where we get into some of the good news/bad news stuff. In good news, the download is going to be free, and it taks up 112 MB. In bad news, you won't be playing this one on TV. The game only supports handheld mode, so docked and even tabletop modes are out of the question.

It's a game with touch and hold controls. Twisting and waggling a controller doesn't have the same effect, nor does using the controller as a pointer.

Tomorrow Corporation got games designed around touch controls to work very well with gyro pointer (of course I didn't mean twist and waggle)
