TV series adaptation of 'Disco Elysium' in the works from co-producer of the Sonic movie
Disco fever!
Variety has received an exclusive report that Disco Elysium is in the process of being turning into a TV series in a collaboration project between indie developer ZA/UM and production studio dj2 Entertainment.
The CEO and founder of dj2 Entertainment, Dmitri M. Johnson (co-producer for the Sonic movie), said "’Disco Elysium’ is a phenomenal property with an expansive world and unlimited potential. The dj2 team is truly thrilled about this extraordinary opportunity to be part of it all.”
The show is still in very early development, and a writer has still not signed on for the project. dj2 is actively meeting with writers in hopes of pitching the property sometime this year.
