GN Version 5.0

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has certainly seen its fair share of delays. That goes for both the main game and DLC content. Unfortunately, another one of those delays has been announced.

The dev team has discovered an issue with the upcoming Chroma Wheel feature, and that needs to be fixed up before release. That's lead to the DLC's delay to some time later this week. More details on the issue will be shared "after the weekend" according to the official Twitter account.

The Chroma Wheel bug has had the unfortunate side effect of delaying the Boss Revenge Mode as well, as that was supposed to be part of the same update. That mode is running totally fine, but since it's packaged together with the Chroma Wheel DLC, there was no way around delaying it.

If you need a recap on what the Chroma Wheel and Boss Revenge Mode features offer, you can get details below.

Boss Revenge Mode

Get ready to turn the tables on the heroes of Bloodstained! Boss Revenge mode let’s you fight as one of Bloodstained’s deadly bosses: Andrealphus, Bathin, Bloodless, or Gremory.

Each boss comes has their own set of unique abilities and playstyles. The attacks that you previously worked so hard to avoid are now yours to command!

Once you’ve chosen your character, you’ll challenge a series of heroes: Zangetsu, Dominique and finally, Miriam. Each battle takes place in a pre-defined area. Once you enter, there is no turning back! You fight until you win or lose.

Defeat your opponent and you will teleport into a transition room where you can proceed to the next fight. A timer will record your completion time for each fight and your overall time. How fast can you finish?

Chroma Wheel

While we’re always ready for a good fight, sometimes you want to look good while doing it, so we’ve updated the UI to give you more color options when you visit Todd the Demon Barber!

Instead of just a few pre-selected colors, you now have an entire range of colors to choose from. The new color options can be applied to Hair, Sub Hair Color (A new option!), Outfit, Sub Outfit Color, Skin and Eyes.
