Nintendo, Creatures Co., and Game Freak secure multiple Pokemon trademarks for recently-revealed games

Keeping things secure

Nintendo, Creatures Co., and Game Freak have been doing a little trademark housekeeping lately. The companies filed for a round of trademarks on June 15th, 2020, and they all apply to games that were recently revealed.

The lineup of trademarks includes the Pokémon Snap logo (商願2020-73738), the Pokémon UNITE name (商願2020-73740), the Pokémon Café Mix name (商願2020-73741), the Pokémon Smile name (商願2020-73742), and the Pokémon Snap name (商願2020-73743). All of these trademarks were for game/app purposes.

I really hope Pokemon Snap actually ends up looking this good. I interpreted the trailer as this being in game footage, but some people interpreted it as not being the case.

Except for the ground textures those could... use some work, before release.

Seeing as it's an on-rails game, I'm almost 100% sure that this footage is game footage as they can control the rendering a lot better. That said, yes, a few of the ground textures and assets could use touching up. But we've got some time before release.

Yeah I am confident it is in game as well, but a few people were tripped up by the "game development in progress" text on the bottom during the start of the trailer, though all Pokemon Company trailers have that.
