Nintendo not planning any large in-person events for the time being
Better safe than sorry
Nintendo wants to make sure they can keep fans and press alike safe, which is why they're not planning any large in-person events for the time being. Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa confirmed this information during a Q&A with shareholders.
The industry at large is staying far away from large-scale in-person events due to the pandemic, and Nintendo plans to do the same. Furukawa says that Nintendo will work to bring announcements and news in other ways going forward.
