Swery65 says he's going to work to release a framerate patch for Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise

A sign of good things to come

GN Version 5.0

Review and impressions for Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise came out yesterday, and while some found the game charming for its weirdness, almost every knocked the title for its poor framerate. That news only riled up fans more when we heard that there wouldn't be a patch to fix the issue. 24 hours removed from the firestorm, and we now have some good news.

While initial reports stated that a patch wouldn't release, developer Swery65 now seems determined to make one happen.

"There will not be a patch released in time for the release date, but Swery's going to take everyone's opinions and points into account, and he's going to fight with the producer to get something done at some point after the game's release."

That same sentiment was echoed by PR people just hours later.

“Currently we're looking into our options for a possible patch, but nothing is confirmed yet. ”

Looks like a patch will eventually see release. The only question is how long will we have to wait?
