Monster Hunter movie delayed to April 23rd, 2021
A monster of a delay
The original plan for the Monster Hunter movie was to release on Sept. 4th, 2020, but that's no longer happening. Sony has confirmed that the film is now delayed, and it's a pretty sizable push-back. The movie now won't launch until April 23rd, 2021, which is about seven months out from the original plan.
