The Witcher was a big hit for Netflix, and they're currently working towards filming the second season. The streaming service is also putting out The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, a standalone anime film. That's not the only spin-off content though, as Netflix has now announced a third Witcher project.
Netflix is working on The Witcher: Blood Origin, which is a six-part, live-action limited series. This show is being put together by Declan de Barra, along with The Witcher showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, and the author of the books, Andrzej Sapkowski.
