Ninjala Cartoon Anime Ep. 2 Available Now, Plus a New In-Game Tier-Boosting Event Starting Today

GungHo Online Entertainment (GOE) has released a brand new episode of their ongoing cartoon anime series for Ninjala! Episode 2, ‘A Secret Eye,’ is now available to watch on the PlayNinjala Youtube channel.

The Ninjala cartoon anime is a throwback to the over-the-top action Saturday morning cartoons we all know and love. After the critical acclaim of episode 1, fans have been anxiously awaiting the next installment. Episode 2 focuses on the backstory of Lucy, another of Ninjala’s main protagonists (voiced by anime voice acting veteran Reba Buhr). While attempting to save a friend from some bullies, Lucy inadvertently awakens her Shinobi powers. Alarmed and overwhelmed at her newly realized abilities, she attempts to hide them by avoiding people and shutting down emotionally. Despite this, she is once again forced to use her powers - reawakening her secret shinobi abilities that no one, including Lucy herself, is prepared for.

In addition to the new anime episode, GOE has also released an in-game event for Ninjala called the Ninjala Pass Matsuri (Festival). This event will enable players to advance through the game’s seasonal pass more quickly by boosting the Tier Points awarded after clearing each Mission, allowing them to get their hands on all of the Ninjala Pass’s rewards more quickly. Starting today and lasting until August 10, players will be able to earn increased Tier Points from all Ninja Missions and renew them an unlimited amount of times, regardless of which pass they have. As players progress through tiers, items such as costumes, Jala, and Ninja Medals to upgrade Shinobi Cards will be rewarded.
