The Last Campfire's Apple Arcade release might give us info on when to expect it for Switch

The Last Campfire, the next game from Hello Games, was revealed for Switch back in April of 2020. Back then, we heard the game is coming sometime in Summer 2020, and haven't had anything more specific than that. Today some info has popped up that might give us a better idea of when to expect the game's launch.

Hello Games has confirmed that The Last Campfire is coming to Apple Arcade. Along with that announcement came the confirmation of an August 27th, 2020 release on that platform. It doesn't appear the game's release on any other platform has been confirmed just yet, but chances for the Switch version releasing on/around that date seem good.

With 'Summer 2020' confirmed for a Switch release, that would give us any date between now and Sept. 22nd, 2020. A simultaneous release on all platforms would obviously be welcome, but at the very least, it seems everything is on track for Switch owners to get hands-on with the game before September ends.
