RUMOR: Aeon Must Die! devs quit the studio due to issues with crunch and not getting paid

It seems the studio behind Aeon Must Die!, the anime-styled beat'em-up that was just announced for Switch, has been caught up in quite a bit of turmoil recently.

Word is breaking out on Twitter that Limestone Games recently saw a mass exodus of employees due to development crunch and issues with not getting paid. It also seems the trailer that was shared today was a rework of a trailer created by employees that are no longer with the team.

Limestone Games is yet to make a comment on this situation. The same goes for Focus Interactive, which is the publisher of Aeon Must Die!.
