Detention getting a live-action TV series adaptation
Following the release of a live-action movie based on the Taiwanese horror game in 2018, Detention will be getting an official TV series adaptation later this year. Planned for a premiere in Taiwan on PTV on December 5th, 2020, the show will take place in Cuihua Middle School, 30 years after the events of the game. An official localization has not been announced.
