Today, Mad Mimic is thrilled to launch its Kickstarter for Dandy Ace, the new game from the No More Heroes developer. With a modest goal of $25K, Mad Mimic hopes to use the funding in order to add even more content to the game before its 2021 launch, and bring it to consoles in the coming year.

“Dandy Ace is almost complete, but we want it to be even bigger and better when we launch in 2021.” said Mad Mimic’s Luis Sampero. “We want to add more bosses, more enemies, more spells, and just… MORE of everything. We can release the game now, but to make Ace his absolute best, we need your help.”

Part Action RPG and part Roguelite, Dandy Ace’s core mechanic is in its extremely flexible skill system. Based on the magic cards that Ace has up his sleeve, the combination and powers of the skills can change depending on the equipped order. Each time Ace journeys into the Cursed Mirror, trapped there by the evil Green-Eyed Magician Lele, the player has a different selection to choose from, enabling countless possibilities for different builds and playstyles.

Mad Mimic will also be bringing Dandy Ace to Gamescom 2020 thanks to an invite from Neowiz, where players can get a look at the game’s demo, features, and more.

Key Features:

Rogue-lite experience: Try, die and try again until you beat the Green-Eyed Illusionist with the replayability and adrenaline of a rogue-like with permanent upgrades that makes you stronger.

2D isometric fast-paced action: In a tough but fair combat, battle your way through bizarre creatures and outrageous bosses.

Create your own builds: Combine cards with more than a thousand possibilities, each with its own gameplay style and powers.

Challenges of the ever changing palace: explore the extravagant and lavish aesthetics of the game through the nonlinear progression of the palace, until you reach the Throne Room and leave the cursed mirror
