GN Version 5.0

Good news collectors: limited editions - and standard edition - of Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee for Nintendo Switch is now available at retail.

What’s in the limited-edition box, you ask? Glad you did!

The Oddword: Munch’s Oddysee limited edition contains oddities that fans will love such as the packaging’s unique lenticular, a Munch’s footprint keychain, stickers, and, of course, the classic game updated for Nintendo Switch.

*Gabbit eggs non-included

Oddword: Munch’s Oddysee joins Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath as two of the three classic Oddworld games that are both available at retail stores and at Nintendo eShop.

Oh…and if you are wondering, Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty is the third classic title that’s been announced for Nintendo Switch. The standard and limited editions are available for pre-order right now. The pre-order for the Nintendo eShop will begin closer to the game’s October release date.

In Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee, the story begins with you, playing as a Gabbit named Munch, the hero of the Oddest Oddysee of all.

How would you feel if you broke your leg in a scrab trap?

If you were abducted by soulless scientist?

If you had an alien device implanted in your skull?

Trapped as a Big Phrama test subject within the horrible animal testing facility known as Vykkers Labs. Munch is in bad shape. His fellow Gabbits have been hunted to extinction and he may be the last of his kind. The last can of Gabbiar (the last of the eggs) will be auctioned off soon and most likely quickly devoured, and then, the Gabbits will be no more.

It is up to you, my fellow Oddworldian, to help guide Munch in his efforts to escape and maybe rescue some Fuzzles along the way who are also locked up in the testing facility. And maybe, if you can successfully aid in Munch’s escape, you can team him up with Abe the Mudokon (a.k.a. Stich Lips), and maybe you and they will be guided by the wisdom of the Almighty Raisin…

Will you be able to collect the last Gabbit eggs?

Will you save Abe's Mudokon companions?

And what about the Fuzzles?
