Vlambeer founders Rami Ismail and Jan Willem Nijman have announced that their indie development studio will be shutting down following the upcoming release of Ultrabugs. Established in 2010, Vlambeer has released Nuclear Throne, Super Crate Box, Luftrausers and more during its 10 years of operation. Ways to support previous titles even after the studio's closing are currently being looked into. Check out the official statement from Ismail and Nijman below.

We had a beautiful run, made incredible games, and worked with amazing people, but it is time for new things. It’s not a sad day for us, but the happy conclusion to a whirlwind decade filled with screenshake. It feels like we’ve achieved what we set out to do – as a studio, as a voice, and as individuals, and we are extremely grateful for these past years.
