CD Projekt Red sees revenue climb 70% year-on-year, company credits Witcher 3's "excellent sales" on Switch with helping
Good for Geralt
CD Projekt Red has just recently their latest financial report, and it shows $97 million in revenue, while profit increased to $39.2 million. This makes for a 70% increase year-over-year. There are obviously multiple factors that lead to this boost, but CD Project Red themselves singled out Witcher 3 on Switch as a major contributor.
"This improvement in our earnings compared to the past year is due, among others, to the unceasing popularity of The Witcher 3, including excellent sales of its Nintendo Switch edition, as well as releases of other games from The Witcher universe on new hardware platforms." - CFO and VP Piotr Nielubowicz
