Homebrewers get Grand Theft Auto III running on Switch
Fans do what Rockstar won't
The Grand Theft Auto franchise and Nintendo don't really have much of a history. As a matter of fact, the last Grand Theft Auto game to head to a Nintendo platform was Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars on the DS. While Rockstar doesn't seem too interested in bringing the big-name franchise to platforms like Switch, homebrewers are more than willing to do the work.
As you can see in the video above, homebrewers have managed to get Grand Theft Auto III up-and-running on Switch. They've done a great job as well, as it runs at a full 1080p/30fps docked and 720p/30fps handheld. Obviously you can't run this on the standard Switch firmware, but it's still impressive to see.
