Poke Coins can be used to shorten a cooldown period when transferring Pokemon from Pokemon GO to Pokemon HOME

Time is money

Yesterday there was some confusion about a Poke Coin cost for transferring Pokemon from Pokemon GO to Pokemon HOME. Pokemon Co. has now released a statement to clarify the situation.

According to Pokemon Co., Poke Coins can be used to shorten a cooldown period when transferring Pokemon from Pokemon GO to Pokemon HOME. We don't know how much it will cost to shorten that period, or how long you'll have to wait if you don't pay. Hopefully more details are shared in the near future in order to give the full picture.

I doubt it will be too predatory, so I can guarantee I won't pay Smile

Why is there even a cool down?

I hate to be cynical, but it is probably because you have to pay to upgrade Pokemon storage space on Pokemon Go, if you could transfer Pokemon from Go to Home without restriction it'd probably cut down on their sales.

(I haven't actually been able to find any info on how the process works, so I could be completely wrong, like I said just being cynical!)

Didn't think of that.

Fair enough. I certainly never caught enough Pokemon to exceed the default storage 😂.
