Custom N64 controller aims to recreate the Ultra 64 prototype controller
Impressive results!
The N64 controller is certainly one of Nintendo's more unique ideas, but the controller we got for the N64 isn't the one Nintendo originally considered. Back when the N64 was called the Ultra 64, Nintendo had a controller in mind with a few noticeable differences. While that never saw the light of day for the public, controller modder RockerGaming took on the task of recreating that design for use on an N64.
