Puzzle & Dragons GOLD will not see release in Europe

While Puzzle & Dragons GOLD hit the Switch in both Japan and North America, the game never made its way to Europe. Many have been wondering if a localization would release at some point, but it appears those hopes have been dashed. GungHo CEO Kazuki Morishita has confirmed that the game won't get a European release.

Wondering what's holding the game back from an official European release? Mr. Morishita says that the decision to hold the game back actually stems from the TV series, and has nothing to do with the game itself. Puzzle & Dragons GOLD was based on an animated series that never broadcast in Europe, so the game didn't get a chance to release in Europe either.
