Worldwide shipments for Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory hit 1.5 million units

Digimonster sales!

Bandai Namco has announced that worldwide shipments and digital sales for Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory have exceeded 1.5 million units. Both titles became available for Switch in 2019, and seem to have done a good job bringing in more sales.

To celebrate the sales milestone, Bandai Namco is hosting a digital sale of Digimon games in Japan. There do not appear to be similar sales in NA/EU.

The game is 50% off on the eShop right now. I think it's time I finally get it!

I highly recommend it; I'm currently finishing my original save file of Cyber Sleuth on my PS4 because I've been in a Trophy Collector mood, and one of them required 30 online battles, and since this IS a almost 5 year old game, I jumped hard on it because you never know when Bandai will shut down the online server for it.

One advantage you'll have with getting Complete Edition is that you'll be able to transfer Digimon that were only in Hacker's Memory over to Cyber Sleuth.

Fair warning though; prepare to put aside some time to grind; get you three PlatinumSukamon's to speed things up, and you'll have a Mega Level Digimon just by Chapter 5 by grinding in a specific sidequest.

It really is a pretty in-depth game, having to access certain Digimon to get specific moves you want on the powerhouse you really have your eye on.

Thanks for the tips! Although I'll probably just play it very casually and use my favorites from the anime as it'd be my first Digimon game. xP
