That bit of art has me leaning back towards playable Rhoam, though I still can't let go of the idea of the main story just focusing on the 7 we know. Maybe the base story focuses on Zelda's group, and a DLC campaign has Rhoam and a group of other, possibly currently unknown characters.

Still holding out hope that Link's little concept art sister becomes the new Linkle, even if I have to wait for DLC.

As someone who really doesn't think that we will have more playable characters than who we currently have announced, their artwork sure has weapons(sort of?) displayed pretty prominently for all 3. Now I am not too sure what we will get anymore

While I tend to agree, I'm also trying to keep in mind that this is a Koei Tecmo game, and a BotW follow-up, so I see some sort of Expansion Pass as nearly guaranteed. Since it'll all be planned out in advance they could just be teasing here.

That is definitely true. Every mildly successful Warriors game of recent has gotten DLC, and I would be shocked if this one doesn't. My issue currently is that KT will always show every character in a Warriors game prerelease, and they are marketing and publishing this game in Japan, so the fact that we have less than a month to go makes me believe this starting roster will indeed be small, still.
