Tales of series 25th anniversary celebration underway

Tales as old as time

Bandai Namco has lined up some fun for the 25th anniversary of the Tales of series. It all starts with the artwork above, which features the main characters from all the entries that have released over the years. This is actually 1 of 25 different pieces of art that Bandai Namco is working on.

Along with that, Dash Store in Ikebukuro and Dash Store in Osaka Nipponbashi will sell new merchandise using half of the new illustrations from November 14th to 26th, 2020. After that, each of the Animate shops in Sendai, Sapporo, Nagoya, Sannomiya, Fukuoka Parco, Hiroshima, Osaka Nipponbashi, and Yokohama Vivre will sell merch using the other half of the illustrations. These will be available from December 12th, 2020 to January 3rd, 2021.

I wish they would agree to have the games on Switch for an affordable price Smile

Yep. The end of that second line is where I left off the series. Never touched a single game out of that last line. Incidentally, that's where they completely left Nintendo support. I hope at some point, they do the maths. I mean okay we do have Vesperia on the Switch but yeah. That's not exactly main installment support.

As a Nintendo home console owner, I never got to experience many Tales of games. However, I did get to buy and complete Tales of Symphonia on Gamecube, and what an amazing game it is. I love it, it's right up there in my all-time list of great games.
