Licensing magazine says a new Pokemon app is due out Q4 2020, merch coming in 2021 to celebrate Pokemon's 25th anniversary
Big things on the horizon!
Looks like Pokemon Co. may have a surprise lined up before the year ends. Licensing magazine GB Eye has a feature on a number of different gaming brands, and Pokemon Co. is listed among them. According to a blurb in the magazine, Pokemon Co. has a new app coming out sometime in Q4 2020. No specifics are given on what this app could be.
Along with that, the magazine says that a number of different items are in the works for 2021, as the Pokemon Co. will be celebrating its 25th year. Expect a deluge of merch in honor of the event, but once again, specifics are not listed.
Lastly, the magazine says, "the outlook for 2021 is even more exciting with further activity planned for this hugely popular brand."
